At one point, Hold Your Horse Is claim "It's a pleasure to have you around, I don't want to let you down," but the pleasure is all ours and they don't have to worry, they most certainly haven't let anyone down with Frimley. 8/10

More than anything else 'Frimley' is fun. It has buckets of energy, and is an admirable achievement...

Musically it’s a really well put together representation of what HYHI is can do. Losing none of the energy from their earlier releases, there’s a maturity in the tracks that only comes with time and road-weary experience. What the fuck does that mean? They don’t sound like young guys battering out songs and hoping people will like them any longer, instead coming across as a group that know what the hell they’re doing.

UNDERSONG
The energetic breakdowns and unstoppable rhythms will first grab your attention, but the quieter moments offer depth and will reward you listen after listen with intelligent and catchy respites that still have the bass driven beauty but simply offer it up in a less frantic fashion. It sounds a little all over the place, but it’s an excellently constructed album and one that flows with elegance and class. 9/10

While it's not strictly true that rock music is in a total rut right now, it is true that Hold Your Horse Is lead the pack in raw alt rock with clout and brains. “Well it's a trial to really connect” they say on 'Title Track' – give them a hand and tune in, yeah? 9/10
